Sanctuary2D

Sanctuary2D is a small 2D project where I learned how to implement online play. No longer in development.

v0.24, 10MAY2021

• Launch Screen
• Players and enemies have nameplates and health bars
• Player chat implemented (not working 100%)
• Clicking has an animated feedback to show where you clicked (right and left)
• Resetting the game lets you move again
• Player animations fixed, can be seen by all players

• Audio for Combat should be quieter
• All attack animations are smooth, and finished.

• Edited dragon's hitbox
• Added all 8 idle directions, and their facing.
• Fixed combat clicking multiplying the instances of combat.

Known Issues:

• The game crashes when a player dies, or if someone who isn't the master client leaves (I think)
• Chat somehow stops working when other players enter the game
• Enter key to send chat messages doesn't work, slash is the command to send the messages (adds a slash at the end of the message)
• Boss health UI resets when players enter/leave game
