Basic Combat With Weapons
So for this update I went the route of forgoing a large first level for playtesting purposes and gave myself a little arena where I can go around, pick up different weapon types, and fight different enemy types.
The basis of this was to really keep the web build for the playtesting small, and keep the playtesting more concise, to be honest.
You'll start the game with a new camera angle, one more in line with traditional ARPGs, and you will spawn in with the paladin class' weapon of choice, the 2 handed hammer. You'll click to move over one of the three weapon types to change your weapons (this is just for playtesting purposes, there will be an inventory system added later).
If you take the left path towards after collecting a weapon (they'll respawn after 5 seconds or so), you'll see archer enemies, and the center path has melee enemies. The right path is meant for a boss enemy to test out when I get there.
Currently the enemies don't respawn, once they're dead they're dead, but if you press f5 you can refresh the page and start over!
